Bragging Rights Patch Adds Aquariums and UI Polish

Source: Steam Community

The newest update for Pier Pals, titled Bragging Rights, puts your prized catches front and center. Your journal, gear, and purchases remain exactly as they were. The big addition is the Aquarium, a place to show off the fish you're proudest of instead of selling them.

  • Right-click a catch to send it to your Aquarium, freeing up bag space.
  • Start with a fish bowl and upgrade to larger tanks that hold more fish, and you can name your aquarium.
  • Click any fish in your aquarium to view its full details and history.
  • Visit friends' aquariums from their profiles to see what they've been keeping.
  • Right-click a catch and choose "Show in Chat" to brag directly on the dock.
  • Changed your mind? Release a fish back to the wild for its full FP value, just like selling. The game will ask for confirmation, with extra prompting for Legendary fish.

The update also brings several UI and quality-of-life improvements. The exit button now stays visible even when the background is enabled. Window borders are clearer when moving or resizing, making adjustments easier. The Shop is now called Tackle and includes gear, so you can buy and equip everything in one place. The Bag is now Catches, and your Aquarium is accessible from there as well.

Several fixes are included: players should no longer appear without their outfits, and various text and display cutoffs have been resolved. More features are already in development, and the team is always open to suggestions. For a full list of changes and version history, check the patch notes.
