Pier Pals currently has 55 Steam achievements that cover nearly every system in the cozy idle fishing sim from Peng-O-Labs. Since the game is meant to sit on your desktop while you work or play, most achievements unlock naturally as your line stays in the water. The exceptions are the multiplayer achievements, the shop achievements, and a few long-haul totals like 100 hours played or level 100.

Roughly speaking, the achievement list falls into these groups:

• Catch milestones: total items caught, junk catches, Rare/Epic/Legendary catches, and grade-based unlocks like your first S grade item.

• Collection goals: journal entries, completed collection sets, and discovery objectives for junk types, crops, and bugs.

• Progression goals: player levels, lifetime FP earned, items sold, and total playtime.

• Shop and cosmetics: gear purchases, clothing, pets, rides, hairstyles, and Mystery Boxes.

• Social goals: joining a friend's lobby, fishing in a full 4-player lobby, sending chat messages, and using emotes.

One note for achievement hunters: a single achievement record has an empty unlock description in the current Steam data, so its exact trigger is not yet documented. The rest are straightforward, and none are tied to timed events, so you can earn them in any order.

Tips for completionists

A full clear of the Pier Pals achievement list is a serious commitment. The biggest targets are 25,000 total items caught,100 hours played,level 100, and 250,000 FP earned. Treat it as a background grind that you shape with a few deliberate habits.
